Gonna break it down for all of you as to what is expected of you to make it easier for everyone:

First off before I get into all that I would like to use the buddy system when moderating a game, meaning I would like to have 2 moderators at every game if possible. As some of us who have been staff or mods before know, it is much better to have at least 2 people there so if a player wants to deny that a problem happened you have a witness to what was said or done. Also I would like all of you to be on your best behavior, there will probably be situations where someone will try and get you going, but just keep your cool, be respectful, and remember you have the rules on your side. Two things I forgot to add is if there is bashing of another player or foul language used, copy the chat and send it in, because this is against fc rules and you cannot moderate a game that your team is playing in.

(1) CARD SHARING - Cross talking about cards will not be allowed. No player on the table should be allowed to state or discuss at the table what his or hers cards (for example C – D – H – S indicating a suit or AA (pocket aces) AK (ace king), or etc indicating what cards they are holding in their pocket cards) are at any time during the team league match. Even after the hand is over, a player cannot state what they cards were in the previous hand. Penalty: Each team shall be given 1 warning during any given match. If any member of CFC breaks this policy after the warning and during game play their chat will be disabled, if that option is available, during the rest of the team match. In addition, that member shall be fined 10,000 FatCat chips directly from their FatCat account and if that member does not have sufficient FatCat chips in their account then the fine will be assessed against the team account for a first offense. The fine will be increased to 25,000 FatCat chips for a second offense and 2 points shall be deducted from that team’s overall team league standings. Third and subsequent offenses shall be a fine of 50,000 FatCat chips and 5 points shall be deducted from that team’s overall team league standings. In addition, if it is determined that a particular FC member routinely violates this rule and his team does not correct this situation, that person shall be barred from playing in any future team league event during the current season.

This rule being broken is the one you will probably have to deal with most often. I would like all of you at the beginning of the game to identify yourself as the games moderator and to remind them that card sharing or talking is against the rules. As the rules state if someone does break this rule, you must identify that person and warn them accordingly. If they continue to break this rule fines will be assessed so you may want to remind them of that too. Please copy and paste all occurences plus your warnings to them. If it is easier for all of you and there are 2 mods at the table, have one deal with the occurence and the other one copy the chat.

(2) No one at the table or watching the match shall tell someone playing in the team league match to fold, check or to give chips to a certain other player while the hand is in play. THE HAND IS NOT OVER UNTIL AFTER THE POT HAS BEEN AWARDED BY THE PROGRAM. There is no exception to this rule even if the hand is over (but not awarded by the program) or that it might be only one team in said hand.

This is pretty much the same as rule 1 above.

(3) Unreasonable sitting out during play is not allowed. A short bathroom break or to leave the table for a few minutes is acceptable as long as you inform the table prior to leaving and indicating that you have returned. There is a sit out timer that boots players who sit out for 10 hands and will be eliminated on the 11th hand. (No exceptions to this rule since this is a global rule for all tournaments and incorporated into the program).

This is built into the system so it is the player's responsibility to know this rule and not sit out long enough to get booted from the game.

(4) FatCat does not recognize sub teams or sister teams and therefore there cannot be any substitutes for a team member during the team league match. Each team member must have their team designated on their table avatar during the scheduled game. Failure to have your team name on your avatar may result in a forfeiture of the match.

(5) There is a minimum of 7 day waiting period for new team members to play in a team league match. This should be sufficient time to contact FatCat Administration and have your table avatar corrected prior to the team match. At the time of registering for team league, each team shall provide FatCat Administration with a complete team roster and in addition each team is required to provide updates of any changes to their team roster during team league season. Failure to comply with the 7 day waiting period may result in a forfeiture of the match.

Would like all of you to take a screen shot of the beginning of each game to verify players then check the list here in this forum of their roster to make sure all players are eligible to play that game. Post the screenshots in the problem area if there is a challenge or problem with a player.
